How I Spent My Summer Vacation – Madeira Beach

Actually,  it was just a week ….but a wonderful, relaxing, lay on the beach and eat lots of seafood kind of week.Of course I couldn’t resist a little antiquing and junking too.

Madeira Beach, Fl

Tampa Aquarium was a lot of fun.

 Our week wasn’t over yet.
On the way home we stopped at the Petite Fancy Flea for the semi-annual vintage market. It was a great market but way to crowded to get pictures.  My only purchase was this small silver trophy which I added a piece of coral.

The next day I scored this Pottery Barn confit pot (the orange one in front) for $2.00 and a brand new Brighton straw handbag for $5.00 at our local flea/farmers market.

If only every week could be this great!
I hope you are enjoying your Summer Vacation.

Sherry

  1. Your pictures are beautiful! I haven't been on summer vacation yet. I will probably go in September during Fall break. We missed going to the beach and I love the beach! I love your new finds. It's nice to be able to find some real coral down in FL. That's hard to find if you aren't on the coast. Your confit pot collection is growing nicely too. What great prices!

  2. Love your trophy and of course you dress it so beautifully with that piece of coral!…and you scored lady!…the confit pot and purse for a total of $7.00….amazing!….Glad you had a great getaway…you deserve it!!!….Have a great week Sherry!
