You haven’t seen the other Market Basket I bought at auction last July. The pictures are not great (that is an understatement). I knew I wouldn’t be home for quite a while and I was running around taking random pictures quickly for future blog post. These were taken literally as I was rushing out the door to catch my flight to Dad’s.
Lastly, I can’t believe I forgot to show you one of my Christmas gifts from Steve. After a lot of research we decided on the Canon T3. It seemed to have good reviews and we found it at a great price.
The camera came with the 18-55 lens and we also ordered the 55-250 telephoto lens. It has been fun playing around with the camera but I still have so much to learn!
Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a great weekend!
Great baskets! Hope that all goes well with your daddy. Congratulations on the new camera. You're going to have a ball. Cherry Kay
Not one but TWO market baskets? NO FAIR…hear me whining? Congrats on the camera…I received one last year and the difference is amazing!
I love that first basket, Sherry! The second one you found is great, too. It reminds me a bit of the one I got from Joann's, except mine is lighter in color. I still have to/want to paint it with the French Linen chalk paint {which I have on hand}. I guess I'm putting it off because I think it's going to take awhile to get it into all the crevices of the wicker. I'm such a procrastinator. : )
Love love the basket!
Oh Sherry I want one of those basket so bad..every time I find one it's out of my budget..I love both of yours girl..I pray your Dad is doing better my dear friend..Please have a great weekend..From my mountain to yours hugs and love..Gloria
Hi Sherry, I love them both. I got one at the Alameda Antiques Fair and I love it. I put magazines in mine and at Christmas I used it by the tree to hold wrapping paper rolls. They are handy little items to have around

Those baskets are FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love them. Have a great weekend. XO, Pinky
Hi Sherry! I adore the textures and weaving on your "new" market basket…it is just wonderful. Will you be able to go back to Virginia any time soon? I'm sure that you miss your house and all your pretty things. You are a great daughter.
Sherry, of course I love your pair of baskets….they are classic! Hope all is well w Dad and love the camera….nice!!
I love random.
I love a random post, Sherry…I think that's all I ever write! Love, love, love the baskets! The one on wheels is just awesome!
I have the same camera and love it. I took an online course because it has so many great features. I'd love a telephoto lens! Have fun with it!
XO,

Sherry, YOu have the basket I dream about! What a great piece!!!
So happy you got a new camera. I bet you are learning a whole lot!
Love the baskets but I am ADORING that camera. I need a new camera!!!! Luky girl- xo Diana
GREAT baskets!!! I saw one at a shop today, but it had no price and no one was around to ask "how much"…I need to go back! 🙂
Love your basket and I would have done the same thing. heels or no heels!
I laughed at the "lady in high heels". I can't imagine fleaing in high heels. Then again, the highest my shoes are is flip flop height.
That looks fabulous! Worth all the jumping 😉 and I won't mind people talking about me, if I catch hold of something as pretty as that! Great find!
I need one of those market baskets! Gorgeous. I also need that camera. You are making me jealous, girl!
Good luck with your new camera Sherry. I am hopeless with mine. :(. Love your new basket and the one on wheels too! I miss my junkin' buddy. I miss someone who is willing to wade through piles of scary stuff looking for that one treasure, roam through centuries old river brick buildings with no heat and furry creatures and ride up to someone's home uninvited just because we saw something great in the yard. 🙂
That market basket is totally unreal. I love it, and I think I would have climbed over everything to get to it too. The second basket is wonderful too. Love the size. The camera is a super gift. Have fun learning. Hugs, Marty
Sometimes you have to climb over a few lawnmowers to get to the bargains. The baskets look right at home.
Love those baskets..
That looks like a great camera too. The pics are so clear and defined..
Prayers for your Dad and all of you.
xoxo
I love this market basket. Great texture for any room, really. I like the cart.
Cynthia
Sherry, that basket was worth the climb. What a great find, must be those high heels that brought you luck 🙂

That is the greatest market basket I've ever seen and I'd climb over mountains of junk to get to it too! I have the Canon T1i & it takes great pictures even though I still haven't read through the instructions! Blessings to you, Patti
Sherry, these are really beautiful baskets. What a great gift you got in your new camera!

Love the baskets Sherry. And for the record, I've trash-picked in my Sunday best. LOL!! My hubby got me a Canon Rebel for Christmas and I'm in love. If you have any tips for me, I'd love to hear them.

Kim
I'm lusting after BOTH those market baskets. I'm determined to find one. I actually saw lots of Parisian women using these types of baskets for their market shopping. I just upgraded my camera to one with video and am still learning how to use it.
Sherry, your market baskets are fabulous!! I don't see those very often.

Fabulous market baskets! How fun to play with a new camera!…Christine
