Open House Party #3 – this week Marcy at AntiqueChase

Thank you to everyone that participated in last weeks party and those of you that left such kind comments!

My dad’s 85th birthday was last Saturday and I decided to surprise him with a visit to Florida.  He was waiting for my son and his family to take him to lunch and he was so surprised when I stepped out of the van too.  I spent a few days with dad and flew home last night.  It was a great trip and I am so glad I was able to be there for his birthday.

The link to join the party is at the bottom of this post but first I have a new home for you to tour.  The featured home this week is owned by Marcy at  AntiqueChase.  I fell in love with Marcy’s beautiful home and blog the moment I saw it.  I think you will agree that she has created  a gorgeous home. Thanks Marcy for sharing your home at this weeks Open House.

Enjoy the tour and I look forward to seeing your links this week.

Please visit  AntiqueChase to see more of Marcy’s lovely home and how she uses vintage items to decorate.
Now on to the Party!

Thanks for visiting.

  3. Marcy house is gorgeous, Sherry! Thanks for bringing her to our attention. She's got such great light, too, which I can appreciate since my house varies with daylight during the day {and we all know how that affects pictures}. 12. Hi Sherry-
I'm a little more than fashionably late, but I just got this post finished!
I know your dad was so thrilled to see you pop out of the car.
Love the featured house this week.

  13. Love your blog. I posted a link to mine with my new drop cloth curtains. I'm looking forward to getting more inspiration from Froggers (friends who are bloggers) like you! Thanks!
    Fondly, Tami

  14. Oh my goodness Sherry! Do you think Marcy would mind if you and I just popped in and hung out for a while? We could bring tea and chocolate and be really, really quiet. I wouldn't out my feet on her furniture and I'd pick up after myself. You and I could wander around and look at every little thing and say how we could do something like that in our house too if we were as creative as Marcy. Look at your calendar, let's set a date. Lisa~
