Market photos of  Luckett’s Spring Market

Just a quick post to show you some photos of  Luckett’s Spring Market.  We had a
great time and we were even able to sneak in a trip to visit Restoration Hardware
and the Pottery Barn outlets and a couple of other antique malls.

I still have to photograph the items I bought so I’ll post those later.  The market was wonderful this year though very crowded.  The only complaint I have is there were a large amount of HomeGoods type reproductions and the same ones seen over and over again in many of the booths.  Last years market had some wonderful European antiques that were missing this year.  I wonder if all
the reproductions are because of  the weak dollar in Europe and the high cost of shipping.

Overall it was a great market with lots of beautiful things. I did get to spend a few minutes with Marian of  Miss Mustard Seed  and her mother.  Marian and I had met for the first time last year at Lucketts. She was one busy lady on Saturday and I am happy to say that she had a very successful weekend at the market.

First are pictures of Lucketts Store which is open year round.

I wanted to take all this bedding home with me!
Because of the crowds I was not able to get many pictures of the actual market
but this will give you a taste of what was there.

  2. Sherry! You were there?! Did you go Saturday or Sunday? Aw, man. I missed so many of you by not going on Saturday. Glad you took photos of the actual store because I did not! xoxo

  3. Hi Sherry, thanks for sharing such wonderful photos, with lots of others in blog land sharing their pics as well, I feel like I got to go too. Pity I live so far away, but I have to tell you, your girls are making me seriously re think next years vacation 😉

  4. I see a few chairs I would have been happy to walk out of there with, Sherry! Especially the first pair pictured with the pleated skirts. Lovely! It's probably a bit overwhelming for those who haven't been before. I don't think I'd know where to start if I ever went! I'm looking forward to seeing what you got!

  5. Hi Sherry, Oh this looks like so much fun! I can see why you'd want that bedding too. As soon as I saw the photo I just wanted to jump in and take a nap. I love the piece with the industrial bins.

  7. GREAT pictures! I love it and would love to have walked the place with you! Too bad there were so many Home Goods type reproductions! UGH- Diana

  8. Oh be still my heart! I don't know if I could stand seeing so much gorgeousness at once. I'm going to have to go to Lucketts that place is calling my name.

  9. It's always fun to see what others are selling at these shows. I don't like when reproductions and things from overseas are passed off as antiques. They have their place, but not at antique, vintage, junque shows. I thought the Country Living Show in Ohio was like that last fall. A bit disappointing …. Looking forward to seeing what you bought. 🙂 Sue
