I am so enjoying seeing everyone’s holiday decorations and I thought I would give you a sneak peek at one of my projects.
This project has been in my head for months so I am so excited to finally share this with you.
Isn’t he a cutie?
The deer head was purchased at T.J. Maxx and was originally black. I lightened him up a bit with watered down white paint. The frame is one I already owned and the buffalo check fabric was a remnant from another project.
The scrolled banner was found on Graphics Fairy and the words were added using Microsoft Word. Printing the banner on photo paper gives it a nice sheen.
I asked Steve to get me a few stems of berries from our holly tree but he must have heard ” get me a truckload of berries” because I have enough to supply the entire neighborhood. I haven’t even gone outside to see what is left (if anything) of the poor holly tree.
Our house is completely decorated but I can’t show you more. You’ll have to come back for the Christmas Open House Blog Hop starting soon.
Thanks for visiting and Happy Holidays!
Hugs,
Sherry
I love it!
Aren't you the most creative one? I love this and the buffalo checks just make Mr. Deer pop! Can't wait to see the rest of your house.
Be a sweetie,

I love that! It's so pretty and I like that you came up with that idea all by yourself. I like how you lightened up the deer head too.
Love this, I have a deer head mount that could use some holiday cheer!

I'm so far behind on checking out all my favorite blogger's Christmas post….I'll have to hurry to be done by next Christmas!
Which banner did you use from Karen, I went to her blog and typed in banner, but I couldn't find this one. I've been looking for this style…..was there a particular date with this banner printable?
Thank you for your help!
