I bet everyone is super busy getting ready for the holidays. I am enjoying see all the beautiful
Christmas decor but I want to interrupt decking the halls for just a few minutes to show you
my new (old) painting.
After a little on-line investigating I found the artist was born in Paris and died there in 1921. The antique frame is in beautiful condition. It’s always amazed me that the front of old frames can be so pretty and ornate and the back of the frame can be so rough. This frame is quite thick and you can
still see the saw marks.
I love the character of old pieces!
Thanks for dropping by and Happy Holidays.

It's a lovely painting, Sherry! I think I like the frame just as much as the painting. : )
Gorgeous. Love the painting and your bed even more!!! Definitely worth the interruption!! Have a wonderful week!
I absolutely love it! Such a soft, pretty room.
Sherry,
It is gorgeous. The picture is beautiful but the frame is fantastic. So sweet you could find out about the artist too. How great it is from Paris.
