I have quite a treat for you today.Wait until you see the before and after photos of this
amazing kitchen renovation.
Jackie at Absolutely, Seriously, Fabulous and her family recently moved to Atlanta and
purchased a new home. She wasn’t in love with their new kitchen and set about making it
into her dream kitchen.

into her dream kitchen.
Take a look at the beautiful transformation Jackie was able to achieve. The great part
is they were able to do these changes on a budget.

Below is the builder’s kitchen they started with. Photo taken the day they moved in.
Quite a difference, huh?
Quite a difference, huh?
Molding was added to the island and it was painted and stained to match the range hood.
Jackie had a vision for this beautiful range hood and she found a carpenter to build it
for much less than the builder wanted to charge.
There were other changes to the kitchen including two gorgeous chandys, new tile, molding above cabinets and a wonderful copper sink.
I found this stunning kitchen transformation on Pinterest after searching for ways to transform a builder grade kitchen. Most of you know Steve and I are currently looking for a new home, our plans are to downsize in price and square footage. So many of the homes have really boring kitchens and all I see when I look at them are lots of dollar signs.
Jackie has inspired me and now I’ll be looking at builder grade kitchens in a whole different light.
Up until now Jackie has only been blogging for family and friends. Let’s show her some blog
love and head over to Absolutely, Seriously, Fabulous to see this fabulous transformation as
well as more of her beautiful home.
Hugs,
Sherry
yes, paint and moulding do miracles. That is a wonderful transformation
truly grand! Can't believe this was a 'budget' makeover! Love it!
I love the double chandeliers!! So classy!
I can't believe it is the same kitchen! I absolutely love what she did with it.
Amazing transformation from how it started and now it's gorgeous and elegant…you can say elegant to a kitchen too and this one it is, indeed!

Sherry,
Thank you for showing off my kitchen!! So sweet of you!
Just gorgeous! I love all of her changes. It doesn't look like the same kitchen at all (and that's a good thing).
Oh she totally deserves serious kudos – wow! That's AWESOME!
Thanks for finding her – and again, lots of luck finding your smaller dream home, it's out there. You will.
Hugs.
What a gorgeous kitchen Sherry! Thanks so much for showing it off! 🙂

I love you Jackie (: your bff!!
What a spectacular kitchen, Sherry! Amazing, to say the least.
Sherry thanks for sharing this kitchen. It offers some wonderful ideas. I've been thinking about you and wondering how the house hunting is going. Downsizing is always a bit tough. We might be following in your steps shortly…so this post is perfect timing.
🙂

Beautiful! It is always going to cost less when you don't go through someone but rather go direct. It looks beautiful!
