There are so many parties going on today! I am linking my newest project to Naps on the porch, The girl creative, Cottage instincts, Smiling Sally, Making the world cuter, Silly little sparrow, Sanctuary art Domestically Speaking and A soft place to land.
This is the before picture of my home office the day the furniture was delivered.
Here is the after with “Lettuce” paint, craigslist settee recovered, new window treatments and accessorized.
Believe me… it’s not normally this organized!
I love the black and white fabric!
Free Chandelier from my son and daughter-in-law. This was removed from their kitchen.
Monogram ordered from Etsy
Valance found on ebay and she made a custom size for me.
I hope you enjoyed the tour of my office and I would love to hear your comments.
I almost forgot my post for Blue Monday: at Smiling Sally. These two Italian vases were an anniversary gift from my Hubby. They have special meaning because we were married in Italy. Could I ask for a better husband…absolutely not!
Aren’t these just gorgeous?
The photos above the buffet Hubby took on our honeymoon. Not only totally sweet but also talented!
WOW — that is gorgeous! I LOVE that fabric on the settee! Where did you find it?
My goodness – what a gorgeous room!
:o) Trish
Hey ~ how'd you get my dream home office! That is almost exactly the same furniture and color scheme I want for mine! Did you get your furniture from Ballard? I found the furniture I love at Ballard, but was able to locate online a few close ones. Everything looks great!
Everything is just gorgeous. Love the pretty bland and green and your blue jars are stunning. Hugs, Marty
I absolutely love your new office. Those colors are always on my radar. I have touches but nothing as nice as your office. Your sweet hubby certainly has good taste, your buffet is outstanding. Blessings, Marla

Great job! The room looks very elegant, but also like it will be a wonderful functional workspace. I especially love the chandelier and settee.
I love everything about your office, the sweetness of your hubby to keep the honeymoon so present, the vases and photos are beautiful. I think a bright bouquet of flowers would look amazing in your office, you deserve it after all your hard work 🙂
Very pretty….love the lamp and the color in your last photo!
Looks SO great!

So much goodness going on in this room. I really like the colors and the chairs! Great job. When are you going to help me do mine??
Sherry,
Oh my, this is just gorgeous! I love the colors you used…the black and green. Your couch is too cute! I love its lines. And the lighting, beautiful! I could be very productive in this space! Thanks so much for sharing, this is a true inspiration!
Sharlotte
Great job on the office- it turned out so beautful!
Beautiful redo!
Hi Sherri,
This is my first visit to your site, but I can tell we are kindred decorating spirits! I love your choice of using a black, white and green color combination. It has a crispness that really pops in your office space. Your hubby’s photos are fantastic. In my humble opinion Venice is one the most magical places on this earth. I can appreciate all styles, but Europe has an Old World richness and aged patina I’m drawn to. I adore your wedding vase; it would look just perfect in my home office! Take care, and I look forward to following your blog.
Cathy
Your room looks wonderful. Love the blk/wht and lettace. And what a great chandelier for free!! julie
Wow, what an eye opener – that is the same color paint that I have in my living room, and I have completely different accent colors that are no where NEAR as striking and gorgeous as your black and white. I'm so glad you did this post!
Gorgeous gorgeous office. I'm in love with the settee and the window covering.
I love the black and white against the green! Our office is green too, but right now is set up for the dogs Haha! Love it, love it!
this is gorgeous!
Love it! Thanks for linking up to Power of Paint Party (POPP)!
Your office makeover is beautiful ~ I love green and black together and you did such a great job of puling everything together. The chandelier is the perfect jewelry for this space. Great makeover and oh i love the blue vases, too!
~jermaine~
Black, white and green is such a refreshing color scheme. I love everything you have done. Just gorgeous. I really love it. Hugs, Marty
Wow Sherry, I just love your office. We are renovating an office area right now and green is one of the colors we are talking about. This one looks perfect. Do you mind telling me the color? I am so glad to see someone else doing black, I thought I was the only one. I really do love the white look, but I would have to redo my whole house. Needless to say, my husband would not be happy, since everything was basically white at one time. I also looked at some similiar fabric the other day.
I am so glad to have met you through Funky Junk. You are not too far in Virginia either. We were just down that way in the fall. My relatives live in Leesburg.
Thanks for coming by for a visit and leaving your nice comments and following me.
Have a blessed weekend.
oh my goodness! so in love with your office! and jealous. lol
I love green walls with black and white. I love your office. I would get so much work done if that was my office.
Thanks for checking out my kitchen.
Your home office is beautiful – I am so jealous. I would LOVE a space for myself as lovely as yours!

I'm perusing your gorgeous blog and came across your office. I love it…love the black and white against the green in here! It's so fresh but still very elegant too. I have the same chandelier!!! It's still in the box but I think it's gorgeous and can't wait to put it…somewhere! The blue vases are stunning as well, and I agree…your hubby is a talented photographer. Thanks for sharing your pretty home!
