Still In Love With Blue And White.

Hi friends!
I wanted to share with you a couple of areas in our new kitchen.
Kitchen with bottle tree and transferware.

I found this blue and white canister set at a vintage market and knew immediately they were coming home with me.  Taped on the inside of one of the canisters was a handwritten note “bought at Harrords 1967”.

Decorating and settling in has been quite a challenge.  If  you missed the post on our family room you
can find it HERE
Though we closed on the house one month ago we have actually only spent thirteen nights there.  We are still dividing our time between dad’s house and ours. My sweet mother-in-law was diagnosed with cancer the week after we moved.  Steve has been going back and forth between Florida and Alabama to be with her.  She is having surgery in seven days and the prognosis is good.  Thankfully,  the cancer does not appear to have spread.
I’ve been super busy getting ready for the The Polka Dot Flea which will be held on June 7 at the
Orlando Fairgrounds.  Carol of the The Polka Dot Closet has done an amazing job putting this vintage
market together and I am soooo excited to be a vendor!
Thanks for dropping by and I promise more pictures when things settle down.
Hugs,
Sherry

  2. Sherry,
Your blue/white platters look beautiful displayed in your new kitchen. So sorry to hear about your MIL…praying that her doctor will be able to get all the cancer out. Hope you have a great show at Carol's market.

  3. Oh, Sherry!

I certainly wish your sweet MIL well in the surgery that's ahead. Is there family in AL to help her thru the recovery time? Hope so.

Another wish is that I could attend the Polka-Dot Flea Market this weekend – as if I need more stuff.

It will be delightful to see more photos of your home when you have time to finish settling in.

    Hugs!
