Sunday I was lucky enough to tour the beautiful home of Bill and Les Stinson. Their home was recently featured in R.Home magazine and I fell in love with it instantly. You can read the article Here. Bill is the owner of W.L Stinson Custom Homes and Les is the owner of the design firm Hunt and Gather. What a great team they made in custom building and designing this stunning home.
You find the home down a mile long driveway and nestled in the woods with a backdrop of the James River.
Les and Bill have decorated their home with wonderful architectural antiques. When interviewed for R.Home Les said “Bill would love a La-Z- Boy in every room! ” There is one in his upstairs office as well as a flat screen TV. Bill jokes “why can’t we have furniture like everyone else?”.
Thanks for visiting and please check back tomorrow for part 2 of the tour of this fantastic home.
I am linking up to The Inspired Room and Faded Charm Cottage.
Gorgeous home. Thanks for sharing it with us and I look forward to part 2.
That kitchen could be my final resting spot!

Wowzers! I love the wine barrel chandelier. We have a dismantled barrel in our basement. I wonder if I could talk Mr. HH into building one of those?

Beautiful! When you see the outside of the home, it could totally have gone the way of pretencious, but it looks so homey! She decorated it with such wonderful character, it's gorgeous! Theresa
