I’ve always liked using furniture in a bathroom is space permits. It’s always nice to have the extra storage. If space is limited a vanity built to look like furniture is also a great option. The piece below
reminds me of beautiful French antique.
Another piece that you can put in the bathroom is a wire rack. This is something that can hold a variety of items, including towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and decorations. There are racks that go over the back of the toilet and racks that have shelves extending from the floor to the top of the rack.
In our previous home we had a claw foot tub and I used a piece similar to the one below.
If you have a separate shower and tub, you will probably have room for a vanity in the middle of the room. The vanity can have one sink or two along with a large mirror and decorative lights.
What flooring is best for a bathroom?
Smaller pieces of furniture can also be added to the bathroom. Place a magazine rack in a corner or a small stool near the tub to make it easier to remove clothing before putting on pajamas or taking a bath. A small table can be used to hold items like hair accessories or bottles of cologne and deodorant. Examine the room before adding furniture to get a layout of where items would look best. Companies like decorplanet have a large selection of furnishings.

I agree with you on all point Sherry, especially the one about furniture!
I love furniture used in a bathroom too! It makes it more personal and not so sterile.
I've always liked furniture being used for the bathroom.
I always try to add a small piece of furniture to the bath or powder room. It just make everything look prettier.
Great ideas.
