Easter Parade In Historic Richmond

Every year Richmond host an Easter parade on historic Monument Ave. Monument Ave. is not only one of the oldest part of Richmond, but it also has some of the most beautiful homes.

Friends invited us to join them at their gorgeous home on Monument for this event. We had front row seats for all the festivities.  I was a little perplexed as to why they call it a Easter Parade since there is no parade!  The parade attracts thousands of people as you can see in the photo. The road is closed off and different venues and entertainers are there. There is a lot of people watching going on.

This post would not be complete without the photo below of our gracious host.
