Open House Party

Welcome to the Open House party!

Before we start this weeks party I want to thank each and everyone of you that join my party.  I am feeling really guilty for not being able to visit each of you and leave comments.  My life has changed drastically in the last nine months.  Taking care of my dad is a blessing, though sometimes not easy! I no longer have the time to spend on my blog, or visit other blogs, that I once did.  I have thought about shutting down for a while but my blogging buddies have been such huge support and your blogs offer me a temporary distraction from the stress.  Please forgive me if I am not visiting as often and I hope you know how very much I appreciate your support and friendship.

Thank You From The Bottom Of My Heart!

I have some great features from last week and I hope you enjoy....

Aimee @ The Vintage Estate  created this wonderful orb light using embroidery hoops.
Check out her blog for the tutorial.

Carol @ Art And Sand  has a very talented husband and last week she shared some
of his amazing paintings.

This beautiful Spring mantle was created by Revi @  Revisionary Life.

On to the party....

Love your blog and I love posting and sharing on this link party. Besides you, I'm the most "non-minimalist" person I know. We gotta stick together. Thanks for hosting. Have a good week.

Hi Sherry - thanks so much for hosting - I often wonder how you can still do this while taking care of your Dad - but I do agree that sometimes blogging can be a very welcome break!
Don't forget to take care of yourself my friend,
and thanks for hosting yet another great one!
Hugs,
Suzan

Thanks for hosting. As much as I enjoy your visits, don't feel like you have to visit all of us. It's already so nice of you to keep hosting. We'll visit each other! I really admire the decision you've taken in your life.

Dear Sherry,

There's no need to apologize, no visiting is necessary. You're a gracious hostess and I can relate to taking care of your dad. It isn't easy, but it is important. He is blessed to have you, and you him.

Take care and prayers for you both.

Sherry, please don't put your blog "on break"...everyone understands. As long as the blog is fun and a comfort for you with all you are doing for your father just "do what you can" with it. I had a good time catching up with your posts about the trip back to VA and your pretty clam shell. I've been really busy with my elderly parents too so I can relate.

You are so sweet to feature my blog and Steve's art. he got a kick out of seeing it on your blog tonight.

I am sorry to think that you would even consider putting your blog on the back burner. Your blog is wonderful and I enjoy your parties.

It is interesting how our lives go in different stages. I am in the count down stage to retirement. The last few weeks have been so hectic I could barely breathe and now things are smoother. My prayers are with you as you care for your father.

Don't worry about us when you have so much on your plate. I've been there with both of my parents and I know how much it takes out of you. It's great that we can keep in touch through your blog!
