An Italian Buffet

This dessert buffet gave me the opportunity to use some of my favorite Italian pottery pieces.

Hubby took the photos above the buffet on our honeymoon.

There were lemon trees growing all over the hill sides in Italy.  They were the largest lemons I have ever seen

Dessert is Rustic Lemon Bucellato.

I am linking up to the following parties.

What a beautiful vignette. The lemons on the hillside are just lovely and when you see the olive groves with the grape vines, AHHH. My breath was just taken away, when I was in Italy. There are so many different regions to visit also.
Your pottery is absolutely gorgeous and your husband photos, just add that special touch. Thanks for sharing.
Have a wonderful week.

That is just beautiful set up, so fresh and bright. I love yellow and lemons (was a bit of a obsession with me this past few weeks, always after I have been sick I need lemons around me and the more the better). Your pictures from Italy are really nice too. And this is my first time seeing your blog, Im really enjoying the pictures and the read.

Sherry, I love your Italian pottery. Did you go to Italy for your honeymoon? We have been twice. Went one time in 2000 and then my son married an Italian girl and we went to visit her family when they gave them a wedding reception over there for her side of the family. I love your beautiful buffet.

Hi Sherry, you have used my favorite calors: lemon yellow and bright blue like the sky over Italy when you sit in the sunshine. I like everythin mediterrean and so I love your photos, too. We brought some dishes from Umbria home and I think, you would love them also.
Greetings, Johanna

Hi Sherry...

My friend, your buffet looks fabulous!!! I loved getting a look at that gorgeous Italian pottery! You know, I have the same colored (olive green) walls as you do...in my living room and in part of my dining room! In your note (on my tablescape) you mentioned the difficulty of trying to lighten things up for spring with having the darker colors. I face the same challenges. But...I love what you have done here! I love the blue with the olive green and of course, all that sunny yellow really just says "spring"! Bravo, my friend!!! I love your decor and your style!!! Thank you for sharing your lovely buffet with us!!!

I also wanted to thank you for coming by and taking a peek at my "Springtime" tablescape! I really enjoyed your visit and sweet note! Thank you!!!

Have a fabulous Friday!
Warmest wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design
