Another French Chair and Pillow

I caved in from all the pressure and attempted another transfer project.  This project was a lot easier than my French Chair DIY... thank goodness no sewing.

I don't have before pictures ..sorry.
I painted and distressed the chair and added the iron on transfer to a piece of leftover drop cloth.

This pillow is another small  project using burlap. For this one I cut out a stencil using freezer paper and painted the pillow with fabric paint. Can you believe I actually sewed something? Just don't look to closely.

I thought the pillow fit perfectly with this French country bench.

Today I am linking up with some of my favorite blogs:

Love that bench, Sherry, and it does fit right in! I saw TJ Maxx had a bench with those lines, but backless.

See now, your transfer looks great! The ones I did on my recent pillow post are not as nice.

Both the chair and the pillow are wonderful, but I just LOVE that gorgeous bench. Stunning. I really do have to try to do some transfers. Looks like such fun. Hugs, Marty

What a great job you did. You say, "I cut out a stencil and painted it on" just like anyone can do it. Where in the world did you get those great French stencils? Thanks for sharing.

I love the chair. It is a versatile design and your transfer makes it unique. Love your blog. My friend says I have a "chair sickness"...my eye is drawn to them everywhere I treasure hunt and usually at least one comes home.
